Bribie Cove's Resident Gardener

Ian has been blessed with a ‘green thumb’ and has always had a passion for gardening. Since moving into our Bribie Cove home at Bongaree in 2015, Ian has been very helpful around the home, so much so that he has been given the title of ‘Resident Gardener’.

Prior to moving into Bribie Cove, Ian was part of a Hibiscus Club and now grows some very beautiful Hibiscus’ here at the home.

We appreciate Ian sharing his words of wisdom and experience when it comes to what we should do in the gardens. Ian is often invited to go to Bunnings with our Maintenance Officer to choose pots and plants – his input is very appreciated and welcomed.

Ian enjoys lending a helping hand within our Lifestyle Team, not only in the gardens – he also loves to cook on our BBQ outings, and he is known as the co-pilot for our bus driver Mark. Ian is always one of the first offering to help set up and pack up activities.

Ian enjoys his days here at Bribie Cove, living a full life with purpose and passion through his contribution to our home.
